Guys, as you all know how I met the girl of my dreams, she came like a fragrance in my life. Suddenly everything had turned so beautiful and I was on cloud 9. When she told me that she loves me too, that moment was magical...
"...Do you know, that girl felt the same for you too, she wanted to stay there in that moment with you forever..."
These words had an irreversible effect on my mind, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep that whole night. I was just waiting for the sun to rise. Next morning when I woke up... ohh sorry I was already awake and when I heard the chirping of birds I jumped out of my bed, washed my face, and for the first time in my whole life, I went for jogging so early. The fact is this, that I was Jogging towards her home, hoping that I could get a glimpse of her to make my 'day' a 'perfect day'. I waited but only glimpse I could get was of their gardener.
After that day, we both used to talk a lot on phone, whenever we got a chance. When her parents were away she use to call me and when mine were away I used to call her. We used to meet at a nearby coffee-shop, sometimes in parks. She was new in town so I introduced her to my friends. All my friends liked her too, and I was feeling proud of myself that I've got this girl with me. I was also the only person in my whole group who had a girlfriend, who inspired everyone to get a girl for themselves too.
Once we planned a trip out with friends to a nearby picnic spot 'Johing'. We were 8 friends on 4 Bajaj scooters that we had borrowed from our parents and as she was my girl she was sitting behind me. We were 5 guys and 3 girls, and we all were falling in love. On the way she was sitting behind me, holding me and I felt like I was in heaven, she was almost hugging me from behind, I could feel her fingers on my chest. On the way she said she wants to ride it and wanted me to sit behind her, I was afraid at first but she was good at it. It was a beautiful day, bit cloudy and the sunlight coming through clouds and I was sitting behind her with my hand around her stomach. The wind was playing with hair and they were disturbing her eyes, so I removed them from her forehead using my fingers. All the way I was looking at her face in the rear view mirror and she looked more beautiful with every second that passed by.
Around 11am we reached there, and the view was just AWESOME by the riverside and the fishermen on their boats were making the scenery which I saw in paintings during childhood. We found a nice place so that we can have our lunch. We all friends were sitting together, chatting took some snaps from our old kodak camera. After that, we started having lunch while listening to music, she ate from my hand and I from her. After having some rest she asked me if we can go for a walk and smiled. So we left our friends there and went on towards the river. As there were clouds so the weather was pretty good and cool breeze from the river was making the moment even more romantic. We were walking on the shore,holding hands, silently and were listening to the sweet ambiance created by the river and wind.
Suddenly the silence vanished and she asked me "Have you ever kissed anyone?". I was feeling a bit nervous and shy, then I pretended like I've not heard her, and asked "what?". "Nothing" she replied, then I said "no one except my mother and sister". She smiled at my reply and said "oh no, then you must be a terrible kisser", to which I replied "How can you be so sure about it? My mother says I've got softest lips in my family". After a pause she said "Every mother says that, I don't believe you" and I replied "Why don't you check out for yourself then? maybe that will clear your doubts" to which she said "yes maybe I should do that" and I moved towards her, my hands wrapped around her waist I looked into her eyes, she closed her eyes. I could feel her warm breath on my lips, she lifted her chin and I came closer. The time froze and my lips touched her soft and tender lips. We hugged each other so tight that even air couldn't pass through. I felt like staying in that moment forever, till eternity, I felt like absorbing her in myself and forget about everything else.
After that day every day was most beautiful day of my life. I was in heaven with an angel, everything was going on so good that we didn't even realized that our holidays have came to an end and it was time for me to go back to my hostel and she had to go to her grandparent's home for studies. I was sad, the days were over, and we were falling apart and when I was packing my bag, she called me. She said "we wont be able to meet now" and started crying, even I felt so sad but I tried to console her "we'll meet again, don't worry, I'll call you, give me your grandma's number" she knew that in my hostel mobile phones were not allowed and so I wont be able to call her, but I promised her that I'll arrange something and she should not worry. She gave me her number and said that she'll wait for my call.
In my hostel, the rules were very strict. We weren't allowed to keep any mobile phones and the warden used to check our rooms every now and then, so it was not possible for me to keep a mobile phone. Some of the seniors had kept mobile phones hidden with them, but I couldn't ask them as they were the seniors, I was sad as I couldn't keep my promise. Then came my friend as a rescue ranger with a mobile phone as he also had a girlfriend. He had solved my problem, all I had to do was to recharge his phone and he would allow me to call her. We used to hide the phone and as there was a risk that warden may come anytime so we used to go to the bathroom to call and our bathroom became our call booth.
First two days when I called her home, her granny had picked up the phone so I hung up. But third day she answered and I heard her voice after more than 2 weeks. Believe me friends, it was a very emotional moment, I couldn't say even 'hello' for a minute but she understood it was me and said "I thought you forgot me". "How can I?" I said and I told her how much I missed her and she told me how much she loves me.
After that we talked almost every afternoon and one day she told me that its difficult for her to talk on land-line so she'll get a mobile phone for herself soon and said me she will inform me somehow but till then she told me not call on the land-line number, I said "okay but please inform me soon." After that again we stopped talking for some days and one day I got a call from home and I had to go downstairs to take my call. I talked with my mom and dad and asked about my cruel sister, she took the phone, she asked how I was and asked about how my relationship was going, I asked "WHY?". She said that her dumb brother doesn't even know his girlfriend's number, how could a girl even fall for him. Before I could say anything to her she said note down her number and suddenly my cruel sister became an angel for me. But there was one more problem for me how could I note down the number as my warden was sitting in front of me so I asked her to tell me the number and I would remember it by heart somehow and after hearing the number I hung up the call and as soon as I went out of the sight of my warden I started cramming the number "8826737736" till I reached my room on the fourth floor and noted down the number as soon as possible. Damn! friends I can't tell you what kind of relief I felt at that time.

My college started giving extra classes, so it was becoming difficult for me to talk, her exams were also near so we weren't getting enough time to talk. And to make things worse all the mobile phones in hostel were caught by the warden, just before her birthday. I was helpless, I tried almost everything but couldn't wish her. I called her after three days, when I got chance to go to city. She was very angry, she said I was ignoring her, which wasn't true. I tried to explain everything, but she didn't listen, she hung up. I tried to call her after that a lot, but she always hung up after knowing that it was me. I knew she was hurt, but I was helpless, I tried everything which I could but she wasn't ready to talk. After few days my sister called me "What kind of boyfriend are you? your girlfriend is not keeping well and you aren't even bothered to call her?" I was shocked to know about her condition, I told my sis about everything. Sis said that she will inform her about my problems.
After two weeks my exams were over and I was back home.All I could think was that I had to solve this problem as I knew that she loves me as much as I love her. I was unpacking my stuff , just then the phone rang and I picked up the phone and heard the sweetest 'HELLO' again. I said i was just going to call you and explain everything and she said that she knows everything as my sis had explained my situation to her. I said so we are back together , she said "not yet, I haven't got my birthday present yet, if I'll like it then only I'll be with you." I was on cloud nine, we decided to meet at her favorite coffee shop in the evening as she was also back home after her exams.
I shaved, I did everything, I wanted to look my best and applied my father's imported perfume and rushed to my aunt's pet shop and bought a aquarium with two little cute goldfish as i knew she always wanted them. I reached the coffee shop one hour early and waited for her outside the coffee shop as I didn't wanted to be late. After sometime I saw her on the other side of the road, she was looking so lovely in her white dress as if I was looking at an angel from heaven. She was smiling at me and crossing the road. She was coming towards me and suddenly a car came from nowhere and she met with a severe accident.
Today two years have gone by, I am still sitting beside her bed in a hope that she will someday wake up from bed. This year my graduation has been completed but in every vacations I come here to be with her, to take care of her. Even the nurses here knows me well, they take care of her as well as the fishes in the aquarium but I still don't know if she likes her present or not, I hope she likes them. Sometimes the nurses and my friends ask me to move on as there is very less chance that she will be out of her coma as she has hematoma in the brain but I smile at them and tell them that its my love and hope that is keeping her alive.
So, this was my unfinished story.... but I hope that my story will get a happy ending.

ReplyDeletesome parts make me memorized my days but i love some parts especially like warden came in your room in search of mobile,u attended college for some extra classes..u have a sister.. in hostel rules was very strict..but at the end the story is marvelous,heart- touching and i always wish that this story will never ever end and you also stay happy with your gf and always you get a company with fish.and always change the water of aquarium and take care of fish...nurse will always take care of your gf...my best wishes are always with this sweet and lovely couple,and i will wait for 3rd part.
